Role Description
- We are seeking a dedicated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tutor for a full-time, on-site position located in Ibadan North. The role entails leading engaging training sessions, developing learning materials, and mentoring learners in AI-related topics.
- The AI Tutor will teach core concepts in machine learning, data science, and programming while fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Additionally, the tutor will monitor students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure learning objectives are met effectively.
Responsibilities
- You’ll guide students step-by-step through:
- What Artificial Intelligence really is (with everyday examples)
- Python programming for AI (from basics)
- Working with data (loading, cleaning, understanding data)
- How machines learn from data (Machine Learning)
- Building simple prediction and classification models
- Introduction to:
- Neural Networks
- Image recognition
- Text-based AI (NLP)
- Building practical AI projects such as:
- Chatbots
- Prediction systems
- Simple AI-powered applications
- Responsible and ethical use of AI
- Advanced learners will also be guided to:
- Improve AI models
- Work with Generative AI tools
- Build more complete, real-world AI solutions
- Teach AI classes (physical and virtual)
Who We’re Looking For
- You’re a great fit if you:
- Understand AI and Machine Learning practically
- Can teach beginners patiently and clearly
- Are comfortable using Python for AI or data work
- Have built or worked on AI or data-driven projects
- Enjoy teaching, mentoring, and guiding learners
- Teaching experience is a plus, but the ability to explain and demonstrate clearly is more important.
