The Role
- We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale the core backend services that power the Loger platform.
- You’ll work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality APIs and backend systems that are secure, performant, and maintainable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working in a startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs that power web and mobile applications
- Architect and manage databases using MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate APIs seamlessly
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and code reviews
- Ensure security best practices and data protection standards are followed
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer
- Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS
- Profi ciency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and system design
- Experience setting up and working with CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Render, AWS is a plus)
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
