Core Business Analysis Skills

  • Requirements gathering: Conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys.

Technical & Engineering Skills

  • Systems thinking: Understanding how components interact within a system.
  • Data analysis: SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for insights and reporting.
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC): Familiarity with phases from planning to deployment.
  • API & integration knowledge: Understanding how systems communicate.
  • Technical writing: Translating complex tech concepts into business-friendly language.

Research & Analytical Acumen

  • Market research: Competitive analysis, trend spotting, and user needs.
  • Feasibility studies: Evaluating technical and business viability.
  • Cost-benefit analysis: Justifying investments and prioritizing features.
  • KPIs & metrics: Defining and tracking performance indicators.

Soft Skills & Leadership

  • Communication: Clear articulation of ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
