Job Summary
- With a growing user base and expanding product features. We’re expanding our content team with a talented Content Creator/Editor who can develop original learning materials, adapt existing resources, and ensure high-quality, engaging, and error-free educational content.
- To create, curate, and refine educational and multimedia content that aligns with Nigeria’s secondary school curriculum while engaging students in a digital learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop curriculum-based lesson notes, articles, practice questions, and video scripts
- Edit and proofread all content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and alignment with academic standards
- Work with subject experts, graphic designers, and animators to adapt content for visual and multimedia delivery
- Ensure all content follows style, tone, and formatting guidelines
- Upload and manage content within the platform’s CMS
- Support SEO and marketing teams by adapting content for outreach purposes
KPI & Performance Metrics
- Volume of completed and approved content per subject/topic
- Accuracy and curriculum compliance rating
- Turnaround time for content creation and editing
- User engagement and feedback on published materials
Collaboration & Approval Workflows:
- Reports to the Head of Operations and Creative Lead
- Collaborates closely with subject matter experts, visual designers, and the tech team
- All content must undergo editorial and academic review before publishing
Quality Control Expectations:
- Zero tolerance for plagiarism or factual errors
- High editorial standards: clarity, engagement, accuracy, and tone
- Adherence to the platform style guide and educational objectives
Required Skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong command of the English language and Nigerian curriculum [NERDC]
- Experience creating academic or instructional content
- Familiarity with content management systems [CMS] and basic digital tools
- Ability to simplify complex topics for student comprehension
- Adaptability to multiple content formats [text, video script, infographics]
