CHDFNigeria is a non-profit organization that supports children and persons with Congenital Heart Disease popularly called Hole in the Heart in Nigeria. The foundation is envisioned to be the leading charity organization in Nigeria supporting the CHD cause. Our mission “to create a paradigm shift in the current status of congenital heart disease in Nigeria through awareness campaign and advocacy; support; education and research promotion” states the 4 main areas we are focusing on to achieve our vision.
Role overview:
As a Content Creator (Volunteer), you will be responsible for producing engaging and informative content across various formats and platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating written, visual, and multimedia content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and campaigns.
- Developing stories that highlight the experiences of children and families affected by congenital heart disease.
- Collaborating with the communications team to align content with advocacy goals and campaigns.
- Ensuring content is accurate, sensitive, and aligned with CHDFNigeria’s voice and values.
Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation (writing, graphic design, video editing, or multimedia storytelling).
- Strong communication and creative skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software is a plus.
- Passion for health advocacy and volunteerism.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
