Job Purpose
- The Data Analyst (Education Technology Integration) will support the Education Department by collecting, analysing, and interpreting educational and operational data to enhance teaching quality, improve student outcomes, and support strategic decision-making.
- The role focuses on leveraging data and digital systems to monitor performance, evaluate interventions, and improve efficiency across the schools
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Management:
- Collect, clean, validate, and manage data from multiple sources, including Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), assessment platforms, and other digital tools.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student enrolment, attendance, academic performance, behaviour, and staff-related data.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and confidentiality in line with school policies and Nigerian data protection regulations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse academic and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations for school leadership, heads of department, and teachers.
- Track student performance across subjects and key stages to support early identification of learning gaps and intervention strategies.
- Support the analysis of internal and external examination results.
- Make recommendations/predictions and data-driven decisions based on data analytics for the improvement of students’, staff and school performance.
Technology and Academic Support:
- Work closely with academic staff to embed data-driven practices into teaching and learning.
- Provide insights to support the evaluation and adoption of educational technologies.
- Support school improvement planning through evidence-based analysis.
- Collaboration and Capacity Building
- Build strong working relationships with teachers, academic leaders, IT staff, and administrators.
- Train relevant staff on data interpretation, reporting tools, and dashboards.
- Support inspections, accreditation processes, and regulatory reporting with accurate data.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years experience.
