Job description
- Provide support in the development, implementation and assurance of strategies across the enterprise.
- Build functional systems that improve customer experience.
- Deploy product updates, identify production issues and implement integrations that meet customer needs.
- Execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately and securely.
- Identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.
- Establish configuration management, automate infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve CI/CD tooling.
- Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintain highly available systems.
- Implement the CI pipeline.
- Implement and maintain monitoring stacks.
- Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies.
- Implement integrations requested by customers
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve user experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Team spirit
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
- Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
- Strong Linux and/or Windows system administration background.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
