Job Summary

  • You will be responsible for testing all equipment as well as commissioning

Responsibilities

  • Test the accuracy of newly purchased equipment on random sample basis and submit the report to purchase
  • Inspect, test, and commission new equipment at site, prepare and analyse the testing report
  • Perform inspection of distribution equipment in IE network e.g. transformers, cables, switch gears, and all associated systems, and perform routine tests.
  • Undertake defect management for major equipment and establish measures to prevent recurrence of failure
  • Prepare guide/plan for equipment testing & commissioning
  • Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Head of department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a university/Polytechnics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience of increasingly responsible in basic understanding test of any power equipment as related to electricity distribution company
