LearnlyApp is an educational technology (EdTech) app designed to help users test their knowledge, learn and improve their knowledge of technology. We allow learners to explore different fields through quizzes and courses available on the app, aiming to have an interactive platform that allows continuous user engagement as well as encourages active learning.

LearnlyApp is on the lookout for a Mid-Level Front-End Developer with expertise in Next.js to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for crafting cutting-edge web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and pushing the boundaries of web development, we'd like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determining the structure and design of web pages and mobile apps.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Next.js.
  • Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
  • Developing features to enhance the user experience.
  • Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  • Ensuring design is optimized for smartphones.
  • Building reusable code for future use.
  • Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
  • Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
  • Work closely with design and back-end teams to translate design mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces.
  • Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and SEO.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our development processes continually.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of front-end development experience.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong experience with Next.js and React.
  • Understanding of state management (e.g., Redux) and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices.
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
