Role Overview
- We’re looking for a motivated and research-savvy Grant Writing Intern to support the development of proposals and funding applications.
- This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their writing skills while contributing to the sustainability and expansion of transformative educational projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential grant opportunities, donor organizations, and funding programs.
- Assist in writing and editing grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry.
- Help maintain a grants calendar and track deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
- Support the preparation of reports and supporting documents for grant applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and project data.
- Assist in maintaining donor and grantor databases.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
- Background in English, Communications, Development Studies, or related field.
- Familiarity with nonprofit work, fundraising, or academic writing is an advantage.
- Ability to synthesize information and write clearly and persuasively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
- Eagerness to learn the grant writing process from concept to submission.
