Role Overview
- The Grassroots Evangelism & Special Humanitarian Programs Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing evangelism and humanitarian initiatives at the community level. This includes organizing outreach campaigns, supporting field teams, managing humanitarian distributions, and ensuring all activities align with the ministry’s mission and standards.
- This role requires strong leadership, organizational ability, compassion, and a deep commitment to both evangelism and humanitarian service. The ideal candidate is highly relational, mission-driven, and capable of managing both strategic planning and on-the-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate grassroots evangelism campaigns and outreach initiatives across targeted communities
- Organize and oversee humanitarian programs including relief distribution, community support projects, and special interventions
- Work closely with field teams, volunteers, and partner organizations to execute outreach activities
- Identify communities in need and develop strategic engagement plans
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between field operations and headquarters
- Maintain accurate records and reports of evangelism and humanitarian impact activities
- Mobilize and train volunteers for outreach and humanitarian assignments
- Collaborate with media and call center teams to support follow-up and engagement strategies
- Ensure all programs are executed with excellence, compassion, and alignment with ministry values
- Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements for greater impact
- Represent the ministry professionally in community engagements and field operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Social Work, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in evangelism, humanitarian work, NGO programs, or community outreach
- Strong leadership and field coordination experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage community-based programs or volunteer networks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High level of compassion, integrity, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work in diverse and sometimes challenging field environments
- Strong administrative and reporting skills
- Experience in a ministry, NGO, or faith-based humanitarian organization is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours as needed
- Personal alignment with the mission, values, and spiritual foundation of Bible Davids Ministries is essential
