Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of [products/services].
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform manual and automated testing on various platforms and environments.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide detailed reports to development teams.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance testing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Quality Assurance role.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing test strategies for complex software projects.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Experience with testing web applications, mobile applications, and backend systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
