JOB SUMMARY
- The Strategic Communication Specialist will develop and implement high-impact communication strategies to support donor-funded programmes and cross-sector initiatives. The role will focus on shaping narratives that influence policy, shift institutional culture, and engage diverse stakeholders through evidence-based and human-centered communication approaches.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, International Development, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in communications.
- Proven ability to design and implement strategic communication campaigns.
- Strong skills in media engagement, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Demonstrated capacity to work with complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring communication outcomes and analytics tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
