LearnlyApp is an educational technology (EdTech) app designed to help users test their knowledge, learn and improve their knowledge of technology. We allow learners to explore different fields through quizzes and courses available on the app, aiming to have an interactive platform that allows continuous user engagement as well as encourages active learning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement backend solutions using NestJS and TypeScript.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards and best practices.
- Work on the integration of various data sources and databases.
- Create RESTful APIs and ensure they are secure and efficient.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Debug and resolve issues, ensuring the performance and reliability of backend systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new technologies when necessary.
- Document code and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong foundation in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Basic knowledge of NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of containerization and Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of software testing and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
