Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fuel Management Analyst to support the Head of Fuel Management in designing, analyzing, and implementing operations performance management on a day-to-day basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fuel Data Analysis: Collect, validate, and analyse fuel consumption data across various departments or business units to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in forecasting fuel requirements, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting procurement activities to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on fuel usage, costs, and savings initiatives for management and regulatory compliance.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow and effective communication regarding fuel management.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to fuel supply disruptions, price volatility, and regulatory changes.
  • Technology Utilisation: Leverage fuel management software and data analytics tools to improve accuracy and efficiency in fuel tracking and reporting.

Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree/ HND in Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Analysis
  • A self-directed person with experience designing and rapidly implementing new tools and processes who can handle numerous projects concurrently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfortably pivots into complex strategy discussions informed by data and research
  • Outstanding team player with the ability to work and influence people at all levels
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. An appreciation of how to communicate and embed change with a diverse audience
  • Exceptional project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic business environment.
  • Proven analytical skills include interpreting numerical and written data, identifying trends, and providing contextual reports
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools
