- This role is designed for a proactive individual who will contribute to strengthening the Chamber’s engagement with public sector institutions, diplomatic missions, and international partners, while supporting high-level stakeholder interactions.
Job Summary
- The Assistant Manager supports the planning and execution of the Chamber’s international engagement and public sector relations activities, ensuring effective coordination of strategic partnerships, communications, and stakeholder engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of public sector relations and communication strategies
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising events, conferences, high-level meetings, and international visits
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior officers and support staff
- Coordinate and manage engagements with embassies, foreign delegations, and international partners
- Support stakeholder relationship management to enhance institutional collaboration
- Prepare reports, briefs, and documentation for management and key engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of seven years cognate experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
Technical / Professional Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
