CIArb is an international centre of excellence for the practice and profession of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The Institute provides education and training for arbitrators, mediators and adjudicators. It also acts as a global hub for practitioners, policy makers, academics and those in business, supporting the global promotion, facilitation and development of all ADR methods.
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role based in Nigeria for a Brand and Communications Officer. Responsibilities include crafting and distributing press releases, building and managing relationships with media organizations, developing and managing strategic communication plans, drafting compelling content, and ensuring cohesive branding in alignment with the Institute’s mission.
- The role also involves timely communication with stakeholders to foster public awareness and ensure consistent representation of NICArb’s objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Press Releases, Writing, and Content Development.
- Strong skills in Communication and Strategic Communications.
- Experience in Media Relations and building relationships with media outlets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is advantageous.
- Previous experience in branding or communication roles; experience in arbitration or legal organizations is a plus.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms is beneficial.
