We are building an ecosystem that simplifies how businesses accept payments, make payments and manage operations. This journey started in 2016 with simplifying access to financial services using "Kudi.ai" a chatbot integration that responds to financial requests on social apps.
It then morphed into powering a community of independent businesses we call Agents who act as neighborhood banks offering basic financial services such as cash withdrawal, transfer and bill payments to all Nigerians, especially those in underserved communities.We believe this technology and innovative solution can power all kinds of businesses whether they are accepting payments for goods and services or helping others access cash or send money. So, we created easy-to-use tools with flexible options for all kinds of businesses to accept, process and manage payments online and offline. - We’re looking for a storyteller who knows how to make people care. Someone who can turn Nomba’s growth, products, people, and merchants into content that Nigerians actually want to read, watch, or share.
- You’ll be responsible for shaping how the world sees and talks about Nomba—on Twitter, LinkedIn, and everywhere else that matters. You’ll work closely with a content creator and collaborate with our design and motion team to create videos, posts, articles, and campaigns that make our brand unforgettable.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and lead the storytelling direction for Nomba’s brand.?
- Write standout copy for social media, brand campaigns, and website content.?
- Work with a content creator to bring stories to life through design, video, and motion.
- Create content that drives attention, conversation, and engagement on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and more.
- Craft founder and leadership POVs that position Nomba as a fintech thought leader.
- Spot great stories—inside our company, among our users, and in culture—and turn them into content people want to talk about.
- Make sure everything we publish sounds like Nomba and adds to our brand’s voice and authority.
Requirements
We’d Love to Meet Someone Who:
- Writes clean, engaging copy and knows what makes content click.
- Has a strong sense of voice and tone—and can flex it for different platforms.
- Has experience creating or leading content that builds brand love and engagement.
- Thinks in headlines, hooks, and thumb-stopping formats.
- Understands social media deeply, especially Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Has led or worked closely with designers and video/motion creators.
- Cares about clarity, creativity, and audience-first thinking.
