Job Summary

  • The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the QSR chain by analyzing sales, operations, marketing, and customer data. 
  • This role identifies trends, uncovers growth and efficiency opportunities, and provides management with actionable insights for strategic planning and operational improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including POS systems, CRM tools, inventory software, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Develop dashboards and regular performance reports for sales, customer behavior, store operations, and marketing campaigns.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per outlet, average ticket size, labor costs, food costs, delivery trends, and campaign ROI.
  • Analyze outlets/store-level and regional performance to identify underperforming outlets and recommend solutions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with historical data trends and predictive models.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Analyze customer behavior, loyalty program performance, and feedback data to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market trend analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Support new project initiatives such as menu changes, pricing strategy, store expansion, or new technology rollouts.
  • Prepare business cases and feasibility studies, including ROI calculations and break-even analysis.
  • Work closely with departments including Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on insights and recommendations.
  • Present data findings and actionable insights in clear, visual formats for executive leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a business analysis, strategy, or financial planning role; experience in QSR, retail, or FMCG is preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate data into business insights and strategic recommendations.
