About the job

  • The Business Analyst is responsible for providing strategic and support to the Sales & Business Development Team; preparing strategic documents, presentations, reports and managing meetings for the division. The Business Analyst also provides strategic support to the division through Research, Market Intelligence, and Project Management. 

Strategic Support

  • Provide strategic support to Sales & Business Development leadership;
  • Support in the preparation of strategic documents for the Department
  • Collation and preparation of presentation for Performance review in conjunction with the leadership
  • Preparation of presentations for Sales Pitches.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Business Analysis and Reporting

  • Carry out market and consumer research and present findings to the leadership
  • Preparation of presentations and market insight reports
  • Work with management to prioritise business and information needs
  • Develop knowledge of and report on the business climate, applications and competition
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing informative reports.
  • Working closely with the Sales Team, Fulfilment, and managerial staff.
  • Monitoring of pipeline movement for effective tracking of the sales cycle.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

Providing project management support

  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Drafting Pre-sales proposals tailored to the client’s requirements
  • Analysis and Reporting of sales and profitability on a weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Tracking mission deliverables for managerial staff
  • Any other tasks assigned by my line manager

Administrative Support

  • Organise and moderate meetings for the Department
  • Coordinate the Secretariat of the Department, which includes capturing of minutes of meetings, document control/archiving, etc
  • Follow up with team members on action points from Meetings and other deliverables
  • Organisation of Departmental Monthly Performance Review and Strategy Sessions

Compliance and Process Improvement

  • Support the drive for compliance with QMS ISO9001:2015 standards in the Department; implement proper documentation procedure, SOP compliance and report collation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Relevant professional certification from a recognised body.

Experience

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Business analysis or any related field
  • Strong knowledge in project management would be an advantage.
