Summary:

  • The Church Community Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and strengthen the church community, including creating a strategy for following up mechanisms and church growth.
  • This includes reaching out to new and old members constantly via phone calls and SMS to enhance follow-up within the church, visitation of old and new members, organizing a special launch and quarterly hangout with the pastor for new members, sending bulk SMS and WhatsApp blast to all members and first-timers every week, updating the church's database (phone numbers, emails, IG accounts) regularly and promptly, and developing and submitting a weekly report on the church's growth and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen the church community
  • Create a strategy of following up mechanisms and church growth
  • Reach out to new and old members constantly via phone calls and SMS to enhance follow-up within the church
  • Visit old and new members
  • Organize a special launch and quarterly hangout with the pastor for new members
  • Send bulk SMS and WhatsApp blasts to all members and first-timers every week
  • Update the church's database (phone numbers, emails, IG accounts) regularly and promptly
  • Develop and submit a weekly report on the church's growth and engagement
  • Manage social media accounts and create engaging content
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members
  • Work with the church staff to develop and implement new programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other community organizations to build relationships and promote the church's mission

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in community management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for serving the church community
