Summary:
- The Church Community Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and strengthen the church community, including creating a strategy for following up mechanisms and church growth.
- This includes reaching out to new and old members constantly via phone calls and SMS to enhance follow-up within the church, visitation of old and new members, organizing a special launch and quarterly hangout with the pastor for new members, sending bulk SMS and WhatsApp blast to all members and first-timers every week, updating the church's database (phone numbers, emails, IG accounts) regularly and promptly, and developing and submitting a weekly report on the church's growth and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen the church community
- Create a strategy of following up mechanisms and church growth
- Reach out to new and old members constantly via phone calls and SMS to enhance follow-up within the church
- Visit old and new members
- Organize a special launch and quarterly hangout with the pastor for new members
- Send bulk SMS and WhatsApp blasts to all members and first-timers every week
- Update the church's database (phone numbers, emails, IG accounts) regularly and promptly
- Develop and submit a weekly report on the church's growth and engagement
- Manage social media accounts and create engaging content
- Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members
- Work with the church staff to develop and implement new programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with other community organizations to build relationships and promote the church's mission
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in community management or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for serving the church community
