Job Purpose
- Ensures packing of quality products, maintain good line efficiency and proper packaging of glass products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective inspection and packaging of all products leaving the packing zone
- Liaise with support departments for routine maintenance and repair of all equipment for efficient operations
- Ensure that the Line Controllers use gauges on the line accordingly.
- Liaise with the Forming and Quality Assurance departments on product quality issues
- Ensure that packaging of wares are carried out strictly in accordance with customer's specification.
- Ensures proper use and maintenance of Cold End equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Glass Technology or related discipline
- 1 - 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Good communication oral/written and report writing skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Suites - excel, words and power point.
