Job Summary
  - The Communication Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and executing communication strategies to enhance the organization's internal and external communication. H/She will be responsible for crafting clear and compelling messages, utilizing various communication channels, and ensuring consistent and effective communication to promote HSCL's goals and objectives.
  
 Key Responsibilities
  - Design and implement communications strategies for HSCL including documentation of events and relationship with the press- print and electronic.
  - Copywriting promotional materials, designing simple graphics and promoting products, research writing, and publications.
  - Manage social media platforms, research media coverage, and assist in growing HSCL's audience.
  - Develop branding materials and guidelines.     
  - Create and distribute newsletters, announcements, and updates to internal teams and external audience.
  - Ensure all communication materials reflect HSCL's brand principles and values.
  - Conduct any other duties that promote positive image and professional capacity/integrity of HSCL.
  
 Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
  - Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  - Proven track experience as a Communication Specialist or in a similar role.   
  - Demonstrated good oral and writing communication and IT skills.
  - Professional certifications in mass communication and related fields, experience with USAID-funded programs and media organizations will be added advantages.
  - Familiarity with the sociocultural and language in Nigeria
  - Skills in photography will be an advantage.
