Job Summary

  • The Compliance and Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring organizational adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements while leveraging data analytics to monitor compliance performance, detect risks, and support informed decision-making.
  • The role involves maintaining compliance frameworks, analyzing large datasets, preparing compliance reports, and collaborating with departments to ensure ethical, transparent, and data-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and review internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify gaps.
  • Support internal and external regulatory inspections and respond to audit findings.
  • Track regulatory updates and ensure timely communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws where applicable.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze compliance-related and operational data to identify patterns, anomalies, and risks.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to track compliance metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare accurate compliance reports and present findings to management and regulatory bodies.
  • Use data analytics for predictive compliance monitoring (e.g., identifying high-risk activities).
  • Collaborate with IT/data teams to automate compliance reporting processes.

Training & Advisory:

  • Provide training to staff on compliance standards, data protection, and ethical practices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related queries across departments.
  • Advise management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Data Analyticsis an advantage.
  • 3 – 5 years experience in compliance, risk, audit, or data analysis role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry (e.g., financial regulations, data privacy laws, corporate governance).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R).
  • Experience with compliance management systems and reporting tools.
