Job Summary

The Content Creator develops and executes engaging multimedia content that highlights the hotel’s brand, services, and guest experiences. This role collaborates with marketing, operations, and guest-services teams to produce high-quality digital assets that drive awareness, bookings, and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce a variety of content formats, including blog articles, social media posts, video shorts, photography, and email newsletters
  • Collaborate with department heads (F&B, Rooms Division, Events) to gather story ideas, property updates, and guest-experience highlights
  • Maintain the hotel’s editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication across owned channels (website, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Optimize content for SEO and user engagement metrics; conduct keyword research and performance analysis
  • Edit raw footage and images to create polished multimedia assets; ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and visual guidelines
  • Monitor social-media trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to recommend new content initiatives
  • Coordinate with external agencies or freelancers for specialized shoots, influencer partnerships, or seasonal campaigns
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as reach, engagement rate, click-through rate, and conversion metrics
  • Manage digital asset libraries and ensure proper archiving of photos, videos, and graphics
  • Support crisis-communications efforts by drafting timely announcements and updates when required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Multimedia Production, or related field
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in content creation, ideally within the hospitality or travel industry
  • Proven portfolio of written, visual, and video content that demonstrates creativity and brand alignment
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal), and social-media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
  • Proficient in photo and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with strong attention to grammar and brand voice
  • Creative vision and the ability to translate hotel experiences into compelling digital narratives
  • Strong visual sense and technical aptitude for camera operation, lighting, and post-production
  • An analytical mindset to interpret engagement data and refine content strategies accordingly
  • Excellent project-management skills; able to juggle multiple campaigns and meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborative communicator, able to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Adaptability to fast-paced hospitality environments and evolving marketing priorities

Working Conditions

  • On-site role with frequent access to hotel facilities, events, and guest-experience touchpoints
  • May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend coverage for special events, photo/video shoots, or live social-media updates
  • Occasional travel to nearby company properties or partner venues for content assignments
  • Standard office setup with the expectation of occasional fieldwork for location shoots
