Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security controls.
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery efforts, ensuring quick resolution and minimal business impact.
- Monitor and report on the company’s security posture, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Conduct employee security awareness training and foster a culture of cybersecurity within the organization.
Qualifications
- Good experience in cybersecurity or information security rolestion.
- Hands-on experience in incident response, risk management, security audits, and security architecture design.
- Previous roles may include positions like Security Analyst, Security Engineer, Compliance Manager, or Risk Manager before stepping into the ISO role.
- Experience in managing security teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments (IT, HR, Legal, Compliance).
- Prior involvement in Crisis Management or leading the response to a cybersecurity incident or breach.
- Track record in managing security governance, policy creation, and security awareness programs at the organizational level.
