Sambus Geospatial Nigeria is the Country Office of Sambus Geospatial. Sambus Geospatial is a geospatial intelligence company that integrates technologies and provide you with a range of geospatial solutions. We are the sole distributor of Esri’s suites of software, Trimble Handheld devices authorized dealer, L3Harris products and ENVI Module in Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and webinars to impart GIS knowledge and skills to individuals and groups within the organization or client base.
- Design and develop comprehensive training curricula for GIS users, encompassing fundamental concepts, advanced techniques, and best practices in utilizing GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, HERE, NV5's geospatial solutions, and Trimble technologies.
- Work with the Operations department to coordinate training schedules, venues, resources, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of training programmes.
- Work closely with other departments to execute projects and software training for client organizations and end-users.
- Developing training schedules based and client requirements.
- Ensure training are delivered in the best possible ways.
- Ensure client satisfaction with training sessions,
- Ensure after-sales value additions to clients and resolve complaints within 48 hours
- Achieve positive customer support ratings.
- Recommend training module for client workflow.
- Ascertain the needs of customers, promote the relevant products, and demonstrate clearly how the products work.
- Update the training manual with the new technologies.
- Assist the sales to with modules, prices, and proposals when needed.
- Submit periodic reports on training delivered.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, post-training assessments, and performance metrics to measure learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations and improve system design, application technology, and operational performance for customers. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers on the Sambus solution capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales/bd teams to support the Sambus business goals and business/technical goals of customers.

Know How, Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Geography / Remote Sensing / GIS / Surveying or related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of training in Geospatial Domain.
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work.
- Be proficient in the use of Remote Sensing and GIS software, most especially Esri and NV5 Harris software.
- Extensive GIS systems training knowledge and experience.
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, diagnose learning gaps, customize training programs, and adapt instructional strategies to address challenges or barriers to learning effectively.
- Have at least one Esri technical certifications or other Similar certifications.
- Ability to work with people with different backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex GIS concepts clearly, explain technical procedures concisely, and engage participants effectively during training sessions, presentations, and demonstrations.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
