Job Summary

The successful candidate must be able to evaluate new markets' business opportunities, sell vendor infrastructure solutions and services, and implement defined marketing strategies to achieve targeted sales.

RESPONSBIITIES

  • Identify the business market for company products.
  • Provide High-Level project cost Estimation (HLE) and quotes.
  • Create detailed IT Infrastructure architectures for related programs and projects based on business requirements and architectural standards.
  • Leads directly or indirectly project management activities and deliverables for the projects within the infrastructure unit.
  • Liaise with businesses and stakeholders to agree on the approach for project implementation.
  • Provide documentation for RFPs and general project proposals.
  • Work with business and stakeholders to agree the approach for project implementation.
  • Provide high level support for the company's internal infrastructure.
  • Supports the delivery of complex and transformational multi-year upgrade programs/projects.
  • Manage project timelines and communicate status to all stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Conduct proof of concepts, training, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Collaborate with application vendors on optimal service delivery and ensure maintenance of Service Level Agreements between service provider, clients, and the Company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a minimum of 8-10 years actively involved in IT infrastructure solution sales and account management.
  • Familiar with the sales life cycle and have both pre-sales and delivery experience.
  • In-depth Knowledge of Network concepts (WAN / LAN / VLANs), Cloud and virtualization environments e.g., VMWare.
  • Sound knowledge of server, storage, networks, database, application, IT infrastructure and virtualization storage, end user computing and disaster recovery, and data center management.
  • Relevant experience in computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Great understanding of operating systems, apps server, web technology, information security management.
  • Practical knowledge of database architecture, networking, high availability, failover, monitoring & management, Linux, and performance tuning.
  • Target driven and able to work towards deadlines.
