Role Summary
- The Head of E-Commerce will lead and scale all revenue-generating commercial activities at Strivo Labs—both online and offline.
- The role spans digital commerce, retail partnerships, B2B sales, product distribution, marketplace expansion, and overall commercial strategy.
- This leader will own revenue growth, commercial operations, customer experience, and channel optimisation across all product and service lines at Strivo Labs.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Commerce Strategy & Revenue Leadership:
- Develop a unified commercial strategy covering online sales, retail channels, corporate sales, wholesale partnerships, and distributor networks.
- Build revenue forecasts, pricing models, and margin strategies for all products and services.
- Expand Strivo Labs’ presence in local and international markets through structured channel development.
E-Commerce Strategy & Platform Ownership:
- Lead the end-to-end e-commerce function: websites, online stores, marketplaces, social commerce, and WhatsApp commerce.
- Oversee platform development, user experience optimisation, payment integration, and full-funnel conversion improvements.
- Manage digital catalogues, product listings, and promotional campaigns across owned and third-party platforms.
Retail & Offline Commerce:
- Develop partnerships with retail stores, supermarkets, boutique stockists, corporate clients, and distributors.
- Structure and manage reseller/affiliate programs.
- Set up frameworks for merchandising, packaging standards, demand forecasting, and product replenishment.
Sales, Growth & Digital Marketing:
- Lead revenue-driving campaigns including paid ads, SEO, influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, and email/SMS lifecycle automation.
- Build a robust performance marketing engine to support customer acquisition and retention.
- Strengthen brand visibility across all sales channels.
Commercial Operations & Fulfilment:
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, design, and finance teams to ensure seamless fulfilment and commercial readiness.
- Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, packaging optimisation, and logistics partnerships.
- Build frameworks for commercial compliance, SLAs, customer service standards, and issue resolution.
Marketplace and Channel Expansion:
- Manage presence on local and international marketplaces.
- Define channel-specific strategies, pricing rules, and promotional calendars.
- Ensure consistency in brand presence across all touchpoints.
Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence:
- Build dashboards to track sales performance, customer behaviour, marketing ROI, CAC/LTV, and product profitability.
- Use data-driven insights to optimise assortments, promotions, pricing, and customer journeys.
- Lead quarterly reporting and commercial performance reviews.
