Role Overview

  • We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled ICT Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining ICT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems that support daily operations.
  • This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to respond promptly to technical incidents while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and failover systems to ensure reliable network performance and uptime.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain end-user devices while providing timely technical support to users.
  • Provide setup, operational support, and real-time troubleshooting for audiovisual and presentation systems during meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Oversee ID card printing and issuance processes while maintaining the associated systems and equipment.
  • Manage ICT asset tagging, stock-taking, reconciliation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Diagnose and resolve network, device, and system issues within agreed service levels, escalating complex cases as needed while maintaining accurate incident documentation.
  • Support endpoint security, enforce ICT policies and standards, and promote safe, responsible use of technology across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND / BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–4 years hands-on ICT support experience (education or enterprise environment preferred)
  • Strong practical knowledge of:
    • Networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
    • Hardware troubleshooting
    • AV and classroom technology
  • Professional certifications are an advantage (CCNA, Network+, ITIL, Microsoft, etc).

Core ICT Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to support weekend and executive classes.
