The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK), Kaduna State, Nigeria was established by an Act of Parliament of 2025, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's assent into law of the bill sponsored by Distinguished Senator (Barr). Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly. Earlier in the 8th and 9th Assembly, a similar bill was sponsored by Senator Danjuma Laah for the establishment of a University of Science and Technology. Senator Katung's bill gave a new and specific focus to the University in order to address specific needs relating to access to specialized education and man power needs in Nigeria.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc. / BA Degree (2nd Class Lower) in Social Sciences / Humanities or HND at Lower Credit level, with good knowledge of ICT
- NYSC discharge/exemption certificate also required.
