Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain IP network infrastructure supporting FTTH access, aggregation, and core networks.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other IP network devices.
- Implement and support IP services including internet access, VPNs, VoIP, IPTV, and enterprise data services.
- Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability; proactively identify and resolve faults.
- Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for IP, routing, and service-related issues.
- Support customer provisioning, service activation, and fault resolution for residential and enterprise clients.
- Implement network security best practices, including firewall rules, access control, and traffic filtering.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, IP addressing plans, and configuration records.
- Collaborate with fiber, transmission, and IT teams to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery.
- Participate in network upgrades, expansions, and optimization projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, SLAs, and industry best practices.
- Strong knowledge of basic and advanced IP networking principles, including:
- TCP/IP, OSI model
- IPv4 and IPv6
- Subnetting and IP addressing
- VLANs and trunking
- Routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, static routing)
- NAT, ACLs, QoS
- Hands-on experience with service provider or enterprise-grade networking equipment.
- Understanding of FTTH network architecture and service delivery models.
- Experience supporting IT services such as VPNs, servers, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
