Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Support & Maintenance
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
- Support in monitoring system performance, availability, and backups to ensure smooth business operations.
- Help troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in coordination with senior team members.
Systems Monitoring & Optimization
- Participate in routine checks to ensure stability and optimal performance of core insurance applications and related systems.
- Support system updates, patching, and documentation of changes or incidents.
Operational Efficiency
- Assist in maintaining monitoring tools, logs, and dashboards for uptime and performance tracking.
- Support process automation initiatives and capacity planning activities.
Digital Platform Support
- Help maintain the infrastructure supporting company digital platforms, portals, and customer applications.
- Work with senior engineers to ensure secure and scalable system configurations.
Team Collaboration & Development
- Work closely with experienced infrastructure and security professionals to build knowledge in networks, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Participate in training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and professional development programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (internship or NYSC experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity is an advantage).
- Basic understanding of networks, cloud services, or information security principles.
- Familiarity with IT monitoring or helpdesk tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SolarWinds) is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn, good analytical skills, and attention to details
