We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Manager with a strong background in network infrastructure, biometric systems, and Omega restaurant management software. The ideal candidate will oversee our restaurant’s IT operations, ensure smooth functioning of all digital systems, and support technology-driven efficiencies across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all IT operations within the restaurant group, including hardware, software, and networking
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, and Wi-Fi
- Ensure seamless integration and daily functionality of biometric attendance and access control systems
- Administer and maintain Omega Software (restaurant POS and back-office systems)
- Implement data backup, cybersecurity, and recovery protocols
- Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues across branches
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software purchases, installations, and maintenance
- Train staff on the use of restaurant systems and ensure adherence to digital workflows
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed
- Maintain documentation of systems, processes, licenses, and configurations
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an IT management or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions
- Hands-on experience with biometric devices and access control system configuration
- Solid knowledge of Omega restaurant software or similar POS/back-office systems
- Familiarity with Windows, cloud-based platforms, and basic server management
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to support on-site teams as needed
Preferred:
- Prior work experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft certifications
- Ability to train and guide junior IT staff and non-technical users
