  • We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and reliable IT professional to join our team and support both the day-to-day technology needs and overall IT infrastructure of our business. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring system efficiency, network reliability, and seamless technical support, while taking pride in solving problems and keeping our IT operations running smoothly and effectively.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • System Design & Implementation: Design and deploy computer systems and networks tailored to meet the organization’s needs.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular updates and maintenance of computer systems to ensure optimal performance of all hardware and software. This includes installing updates and patches, configuring new systems, and conducting routine performance checks.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to all employees, including explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, and ensuring effective use of required technology.
  • Network Management: Set up, manage, and maintain the organization’s IT network, including servers, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
  • Data Security: Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard systems against data breaches and cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits, enforce policies, and educate staff on best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of system configurations, installations, and all technical issues and resolutions.
  • User Account & Security Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across all systems.
  • Antivirus Software Maintenance: Ensure all company systems are protected by up-to-date antivirus software and maintain a regular update schedule.
  • Real-Time Rig Monitoring: Ensure continuous, real-time visibility of rig activities at the head office at all times.
  • Internet Reliability Assurance: Maintain maximum internet uptime by proactively addressing internal issues, preventing negligence, and ensuring adequate supervision.
  • IT Equipment Readiness for Meetings: Ensure all IT equipment required for presentations and official meetings is prepared and fully functional in advance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by staff, including network connectivity problems, software malfunctions, and hardware failures.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out any other responsibilities as assigned by the manager to support departmental objectives and organizational needs.
