- Collaborate with the IT department to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with business and technical goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage vendor performance and relationships to ensure compliance with contracts, delivery timelines, and service expectations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and inventory tracking.
- Ensure procurement activities are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
- Contribute to IT budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize technology spend and value.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation related to IT vendor engagements and licensing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in IT procurement or IT contract management.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT products, including hardware, software, licensing, SaaS, networking, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating IT vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and IT asset management tools.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Knowledge of IT compliance, data privacy, and security standards is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CIPS, or PMP) are a plus.
