KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide front-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment and software.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage equipment issuance and returns.
- Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Manage user accounts, including password resets and access permissions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and support ongoing IT projects.
- Educate users on best practices for technology usage and information security.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc/HND in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in an IT-related role.
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk operations, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Windows/macOS environments and Microsoft Office 365.
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
