KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Provide front-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment and software.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage equipment issuance and returns.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Manage user accounts, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and support ongoing IT projects.
  • Educate users on best practices for technology usage and information security.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc/HND in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in an IT-related role.
  • Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows/macOS environments and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
