We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on technical activities, good Networking and server management knowledge, outstanding problem solving and communication skills maintaining relationships with clients.
The successful candidate must possessexcellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the product or service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities
Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
Knowledge and hands on configuration of Active directory
Hands on Kyocera and HP printing machines both hardware and software
Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
Installing and configuring Computer systems
Carry out Network installation from Layer 1 to at least Layer 3
Monitor logged tickets and identify potential issues proactively
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, or any related Engineering subjects
Proficient in Windows and other operating systems
CCNA / Network+
Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Knowledge of hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage devices
Good conduct in a corporate environment.
3 years’ experience in relevant Organization,
Excellent communication and presentation skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. ? Self-motivated,
Customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction
Maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct product or service presentations to potential clients, highlighting features and benefits.
Prepare regular technical reports for team Supervisor review and meetings.
Good understanding of computer systems
Good knowledge/ hands on CCTV Surveillance system
Good knowledge/ familiarity with Cisco, Sophos and Microsoft 365
