Job Summary
The Manager, Product Integration is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of approved telecom products and services across voice, data, fixed, and value-added services (VAS) portfolios. The role ensures timely, efficient, and quality implementation of products by managing cross-functional coordination, readiness assessments, go-to-market enablement, and lifecycle transition from design to launch. This role is pivotal in translating product concepts into operational reality, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of new and modified Voice, Mobile Data, Fixed Access, and VAS products in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Network, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Support Services) to ensure readiness and successful product rollouts.
- Define product implementation plans, operational acceptance criteria, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive product launch execution, ensuring end-to-end alignment between design, development, operational support, and customer-facing teams.
- Ensure all technical, commercial, legal, and customer support enablers are in place ahead of product deployment.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews to evaluate performance, gather insights, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Monitor product delivery timelines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with Technology and Network teams to validate infrastructure capacity, system readiness, and platform integration needs.
- Work with Commercial teams to ensure appropriate product positioning, pricing, and channel activation prior to go-live.
- Oversee pilot launches or soft rollouts, ensuring feedback is documented and used to fine-tune service delivery.
- Ensure documentation, change controls, and stakeholder signoffs are completed before transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Develop and manage implementation trackers, status reports, and stakeholder dashboards for visibility and accountability.
- Drive compliance with internal processes and governance frameworks for product deployment and service changes.
- Support the Head, Product & Service Development in aligning implementation activities with organizational strategy.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the product implementation team.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Head, Product & Service Development.
Education and Experience
- First degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in project or service management (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) will be an added advantage.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in product implementation, service deployment, or telecom operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
