KOKO TV is a fast growing music production company, based at London’s iconic music venue, KOKO. Founded in 2010, we have quickly established ourselves as a major player in the youth music market. Series 1 of our debut show KOKO POP brought live performances and interviews with the biggest names in pop, including Taio Cruz and Paloma Faith, to millions of young music lovers. Aired on T4 on prime-time Saturday mornings, the show was carefully targeted to a 15-24 demographic and delivered a suite of brand extension opportunities to our corporate partner. Following this success, KOKO TV is now exploring a series of exciting new formats. We are already working with potential media partners and collaborators to produce a number of innovative shows, employing a wide range of production elements: from reality TV to live music performances. As London's premier live venue, KOKO has put on shows for many of the world's biggest artists, including Madonna, Prince, Coldplay and Christina Aguilera. We have also staged a 30-day iTunes Festival filmed by Endemol, and hosted shows for Disney, AOL and the prime-time TV production, The Album Chart Show.
About the Job
- We are recruiting for the role of Media Sales Eecutive to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle.
- They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones.
- They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow portfolio and generate new revenue streams with agencies and clients direct.
- Account Management: Proactively manage accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, timely solutions, and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Revenue Growth: Demonstrate a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets, showcasing YOY growth.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, with excellent presentation skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships through emails, meetings and entertainment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and solutions.
- Reporting: Regularly update sales pipeline on CRM, track progress, and forecast future business to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business with 4+ years' of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 4+ years of media experience preferred and 2+ years of sales experience preferred.
- Agency-Focused: With a portfolio of established accounts with media agencies as well as a large portfolio of prospective clients. You’re able to provide a track record that shows YOY growth.
- Proactive and Driven: You’re innovative and energetic, creating strategy, selling, meeting new people and winning new business.
- Collaboration: You enjoy collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of campaigns, content and solutions.
- Communication Skills: Clients enjoy working with you, you’re concise and you deliver compelling solutions that solve their business needs, with the ability to present and negotiate at all levels.
- Organised and Detail-Oriented: You know your CRM pipeline and maintain it to track progress, forecasting, achieve your goals and forecast future business to management.
