Job Description
- LearnlyApp is seeking for a skilled Mid-Level WordPress Developer to design, implement, and maintain WordPress-based websites and applications.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress core, theme development, plugin development, and best practices in web development.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Customize existing WordPress themes to meet client requirements
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate WordPress with third-party APIs and services
- Optimize WordPress sites for performance and security
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with WordPress core, including hooks, actions, and filters
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach
- Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Familiarity with MySQL and database optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi)
- Knowledge of WooCommerce development
- Familiarity with REST API and headless WordPress setups
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
