Job Summary
- The MIS Officer – Production is responsible for collecting, validating, and reporting production and inventory data to support operational decision-making. The role ensures data accuracy across production logs, inventory records, and management reports while coordinating closely with production, warehouse, and stock control teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accurate data collection and entry of production logs, including machine uptime, downtime, and units produced.
- Work closely with the Stock Control Manager to reconcile production output with system inventory records.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and production reports.
- Identify, escalate, and support the resolution of data discrepancies and reporting errors in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to gather, validate, and process production and inventory data.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records to support audits and operational reviews.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Management Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Entry level or minimum of one (1) year experience in data management, production, or inventory reporting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Computer savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
