Responsibilities
- Present daily news bulletins on TV and Radio.
- Read and interpret news scripts clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with news editors, reporters, and producers in preparing news content.
- Conduct interviews and present breaking news updates when required.
- Maintain a professional and credible on-air presence.
- Stay informed about current events, national and international news.
- Ensure adherence to journalistic ethics and broadcasting standards.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND/BSc in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related field with 2–4 years experience in news broadcasting or journalism is an advantage.
- Excellent voice clarity, pronunciation, and diction.
- Strong understanding of news reporting and media ethics.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while presenting breaking news.
- Knowledge of current affairs and strong research skills.
