Job Summary

  • We seek a motivated and innovative Operations Optimization Fellow to join our team and drive meaningful improvements across our business operations through the strategic application of AI and automation technologies. This fellowship is designed for someone who is passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization. 
  • The Operations Optimization Fellow will work cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies in existing business processes and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize workflows. You will partner with teams across the organization from business operations and administration to human resources to understand pain points, design improvements, and deploy tools that enhance productivity and employee experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

Process Analysis and Optimization 

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of existing operational workflows and administrative processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies 
  • Map current-state processes and design optimized future-state workflows 
  • Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures 

AI Implementation and Automation 

  • Identify opportunities to apply AI tools and automation to streamline repetitive tasks and manual processes 
  • Implement and configure AI-powered solutions for document processing, data entry, reporting, and workflow management 
  • Develop custom automation scripts and workflows using tools like Python, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms 

HR Process Support 

  • Optimize recruitment workflows including resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication 
  • Support implementation of HR automation tools for time tracking, leave management, and performance reviews 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of optimization initiatives 
  • Gather user feedback and iterate on implemented solutions 
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and best practices in operations optimization 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations Management, Information Systems or related field 
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements or automation projects 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and their practical applications in business contexts  
  • Proficiency with process mapping and documentation tools 
  • Solid grasp of business operations and common administrative workflows 
  • Basic understanding of HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, and employee management 
  • Knowledge of change management principles and best practices 
  • Awareness of data privacy and security considerations
