What You’ll Do
- Architect and lead development of scalable, secure WordPress plugins and Laravel applications.
- Deliver high-performance solutions aligned with business and user needs.
- Own complex technical challenges in backend and full-stack development.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code adhering to modern best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and uphold engineering quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, DevOps, and QA teams.
- Stay current on emerging technologies in the PHP, Laravel, and WordPress ecosystems.
- Contribute to engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and technical documentation.
- Build scalable, enterprise-class solutions with a focus on performance and security.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in WordPress and Laravel-based applications.
- Contribute innovative ideas to optimize WordPress products for business needs.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in WordPress and Laravel.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (including React), HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of WordPress internals—core APIs, custom post types, hooks, filters, and Gutenberg.
- Experience with modern Laravel practices (queues, policies, Eloquent, service containers).
- Familiarity with Docker, RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to lead architecture design and technical decision-making for complex projects.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and a remote-first team culture.
