Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and enhance the company’s e-commerce website to ensure smooth functionality and excellent user experience.
- Develop, test, and deploy custom applications, software tools, and automation systems to support business processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify pain points and design scalable solutions.
- Implement performance optimization strategies for web applications and back-end systems.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways into the website.
- Ensure website security, perform regular backups, and monitor for vulnerabilities.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide support to staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing and developing e-commerce websites(experience with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom PHP solutions is an advantage).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such asPHP, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, React/Vue).
- Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with SEO best practicesand site optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
