JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance (QA) Officer will be responsible for executing manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to validate requirements, identify bugs, and maintain the reliability and performance of software applications. Your work will contribute directly to delivering high-quality products that meet customer and compliance expectations.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Test Planning & Execution
- Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Document and report defects clearly and track them using the provided software tool by the organization.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to ensure QA coverage.
Quality Assurance Best Practices
- Apply QA methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure software reliability and functionality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards, guidelines, and process documentation.
- Support regression testing, smoke testing, and exploratory testing as needed.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with developers, UX designers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure timely delivery of quality features.
- Collaborate with support teams to reproduce and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Communicate testing progress, test results, and product quality to relevant stakeholders.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure testing activities align with organizational security and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO, NDPR).
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, results, and QA procedures.
