Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Research Writer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate is a strong researcher and storyteller who can transform complex business concepts into compelling written content and presentations.
  • You will be responsible for conducting deep research on various industries, business strategies, and market trends, and presenting your findings in the form of professional documents or impactful PowerPoint presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on business topics, industry trends, market analysis, and strategic frameworks.
  • Develop high-quality written content, including reports, briefs, whitepapers, business plans, feasibility studies, and strategic proposals.
  • Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations that communicate findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand content goals, key messages, and target audiences.
  • Translate research into coherent, structured, and persuasive narratives tailored to executive, investor, or client audiences.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism across all written materials.
  • Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and style consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in English, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in research writing, business writing, or content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; ability to design slide decks with professional polish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting, market research, or business analysis.
  • Familiarity with business frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces, etc.).
  • Knowledge of visual storytelling and data visualization tools.
  • Judging Criteria for Selection:
  • Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating research capability and writing style.
  • Ability to break down complex topics into digestible content.
  • Creativity in presentation and formatting.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
