Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices
- Build robust API endpoints to support our lending products
- Optimize database performance, indexes, and query efficiency
- Establish technical standards and ensure code quality
- Mentor junior developers and conduct comprehensive code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Integrate third-party services and manage dependencies
- Develop monitoring and alert systems for backend services
- Ensure the security of the backend infrastructure
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain codebase quality
- Analyze and improve system architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues
- Contribute to the development of engineering best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Python, Django, or Node.js
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of database design and optimization
- Experience with financial systems is a plus
