Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Brand and Marketing Officer, based in Lagos, Nigeria. The professional will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the company’s brand presence and market positioning. The daily tasks include managing marketing campaigns, crafting compelling messages, overseeing market research, analyzing marketing trends, and maintaining the company's brand identity. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing digital marketing efforts, and building relationships with stakeholders to grow the company's influence in the industry.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Marketing, Brand Development, and Content Strategy
- Strong communication and writing skills, with experience in creating compelling marketing content
- Hands-on experience in Digital Marketing tools and platforms, Social Media Campaigns, and SEO best practices
- Analytical and Research skills to evaluate market trends and assess campaign effectiveness
- Proficiency in using design and media editing software to support marketing materials
- Project Management and Leadership abilities to oversee marketing initiatives and coordinate across teams
- Experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Familiarity with Nigeria's market environment and trends is highly desirable
